Ultrasound for Guided Injections.

Why Have Ultrasound?

Here at The Foot Hut Podiatry, some members of the team can use ultrasound to offer guided injections and also let us identify nerves more easily that we might want to put local anaesthetic around for some minor surgical procedures such as verruca needling.

How does it work?

We use a probe that emits sound waves into your body, similar to a pregnancy ultrasound. Waves of ultrasound are then converted into an image to allow us to see superficial structures within the foot and ankle.
